Vacuum thermoforming is a moulding technique for plastic materials where a sheet or film is heated and formed to produce articles of various shapes and sizes.


Compared with other moulding methods, it consents to produce even relatively small batches at low price, as the costs of the moulds and the tooling are low, whatever the dimension of item.


The thermoforming materials that can be used are various and include various types of polystyrene (HIPS), ABS, PC, PVC, PMMA, PET G, PET G, PET, Polypropylene, PE.


With this technique it is also possible to mould undercut surfaces. Besides, once thermoformed, the items can be subject to processes such as polyurethane foaming, application of metal or plastic inserts, serigraphy and digital printing.
